The explanation of utilitarian theory

Utilitarian theory said that all of people's behaviour is based on the utility. The "utility" here means a function of an action that we have done,for our ownself or for the others. And it's the problem. In some condition we must make a decision with two option. The first option if we choose,we will get an advantage for our ownself but not for the others. And the second option bring an advantage for the others and we can get the disadvantage of this if we choose this option. It's depend on our decision,we choose the first option or the second option,but in the fact we usually choose the option that bring advantage for our ownself only! There is no people that want theirself get the disadvantage of everything..
For example,the producer of foods often use a dangerous materials to subtitute the
materials usually used. It usually happens if the materials used to make some products (foods in this case) is expensive. And they will subtitute with other materials that cheaper than the first materials. Why they do that? If they can make the cost lower,and they sale their product with the market price (same with the other),they will get higher benefit than if they use the first materials.
And it also can caused that producer want interested the buyer with a cheaper price..
We often see a similar case like this in television,exactly in "reportasi investigasi trans tv". There is an ocnum sale a cow meat that cheating the buyer with an unethical action. He force the cow to drink a lot of water,so the meat will be more heavy than before. And of course,he will get more advantage than if he use a normal action. Obviously,in this case,it's not dangerous for us,
but he had tortured the animal.
Other case,
like a person that cheating a consumer of the famous brand,"johnson & johnson". He take an empty "johnson & johnson" packaging, and he put with others materials was made by him (of course,it's not have a standard of health),and then sale it with the same brand. If we don't look closely this product,we may cannot get the different of the real product and the forged product.
We all know it's unethical,may be the cheater that we discussin above know it's unethical too.. But we usually doesn't care about ethical or unethical,
but we always care the advantages or disadvantages of this our own self,not for the others.

My opinion about "Schwarzenegger to Shrive : put down the cell phones"

Accident like this become familiar with us. In Indonesia,it's become usual,and any response from govermance about this. And see what! People near to govermance,like governos's wife or son,feel that they have an authority to do whatever they want.
Include violating a state law.
In California,a wife of governor Arnold Schwarzenegger,violating a state law that requires driver to use hands-free device while talking on cell phones. A photograps from a infotainmet shows wife of governor,Shriver,was holding a cell phone when she was behind the wheel. Shriver apologizes for this accident,and her husband wrote on twitter,"there's going to be swift action".
And she said that she will donate her oldphones to a program helping domestic violance as a
penalty for this violance. And she said,"that's my swift action with higher purpose". This statement to reply her husband's written.
And I think,we must have realization with ourself that pay penalty like the others too,although we are a part of govermance'family .

my opinion about Qori Sandrioriva

I heard about Qori Sandrioriva that representative Aceh be a winner in Puteri Indonesia 2009 contest. And read some articles about this too. And I’m very disappointed with her. How she can do that ! it makes all of Acehnese embarrassed. She had damages Acehnese image that hold a hundred years ago. How can a woman that representative Aceh not wearing veil? Aceh is a famous with the rule that women moslem must to wearing veil. I am not women wearing veil perfectly yet too, and many Aceh woman’s too. May be in a long term, what Aceh women do like I tell before can damage image Acehnese too. But Qori Sandrioriva had makes this way happens soon. In one article, I read one command about this. Someone said that Qori Sandrioriva suppose wearing a veil like a joke. The rule to wearing veil comes from Allah and why she ask permition from pemda,not from Allah? Is she think she was save with this permition Pemda? It’s a joke,like a little boy that not want go to school,and he ask permition from security not from his teacher. And when she make a pers conference, she said different. She said that she not usually wearing veil. It’s so controversial,put out the veil and not wearing veil is so different. And about permition is still not clearly.

how business ethics applied in our society?

Ethics means a standard for us (businessmen in this context) to know what we have to do or not. Actually, we all know what ethics means but we may not be able to describe definition of ethics perfectly. When we see one case, we can decide it's ethical or unethical directly.

Ethics is more than just common, or normative, standards of behaviour. Ethics also include honestly, fairness, and justice
Ethics consist of those unwritten rules we have developed for our interaction with each other.
It means interaction that happens between one group and the others is different. and of course, definition of ethics in a society not always has a same perseption with the other. It can be different, for example when we say that someone has acted unethical in our society. It not means people in the other society have a same thought, too. Maybe, it is just a normal case and not be problem to them. but generally, ethics in one society is not too different from the other. For examples use a mobile when someone drive a car not be a problem in our society,but in the united states it's be a problem.

Business ethic that happens in our society for examples when tsunami occured in Aceh. In that time telecomunication in Aceh had been disconected and Telkom solve the problem soon.

And other case that happen in Padang shows unethical condition. When earthquake occured in Padang, many people in other province went to Padang to visit their family. But flights fully booked, many are jostling just to get their names placed on waiting lists.
One of the passangers complain about this.
“I have waited since 4 a.m. I should get a ticket, I will buy it at any price,” Apri told the Jakarta Globe on Thursday morning while he lined up at the Lion Air ticket office.

“I just don’t care about the money, I just want to go home,” he said.
In this condition, many people may makes theirself to be able to buy this ticket,eventhough the price is very expensive. But in other side many people not be able to buy this ticket too,like one passenger,Leon Agustin,said ,"that's not fair.When we have problem,flights take advantage of this.I want go to Padang,not to holiday, but pick my mom up. My plan is bring all of my family to Medan,because my family’s house in Padang is had broken”And he very regret with this accident.
